On the left is the entrance gate to Lindores Abbey, a Tironensian abbey founded about 1191. The abbey is a Scheduled Monument http://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/SM836. The old caravan is probably used in connection with tours of the abbey. Behind is Abbey House, a Category B listed http://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/LB38481 18th century house extended in 1872.
