Metal plates attached to stone post by the UC road, in parish of PROBUS (CARRICK District), North of crossroads to Golden, on the verge, on East side of road. Grampound iron plate, erected by the Local Highways Board in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : TREGONY / 2 MILES : : GRAMPOUND / ROAD / 2¼ MILES : Cornwall & Scilly HER.
