Essentially a slip road from the NEC area onto the eastbound A45, East Way here runs under Middle Bickenhill Lane, which once ran from the former Cottage Farm just south of here to the A452 Chester Road to the north. That farm has long-since been lost to widening of the A45, whilst the lane has now effectively been lost to the HS2 works which are now in progress at Image and Image
