Situated on The Green SN15 4PE, this commemoration stone refers to the presence of the Royal Air Force in Lyneham. It has the following wording: THIS STONE COMMEMORATES THE 70 YEAR PRESENCE OF THE ROYAL AIR FORCE IN LYNEHAM AND ACKNOWLEDGES THE OUTSTANDING SERVICE OF R.A.F. PERSONNEL BASED HERE. ERECTED BY LYNEHAM AND BRADENSTOKE PARISH COUNCIL IN 2012 THE DIAMOND JUBILEE YEAR OF HM QUEEN ELIZABETH II
