William King Ltd is a family owned independent metals service centre. It specialises in the supply of strip mill products for a variety of users including automotive, appliances and metal packaging. The works is large but appears largely modern and like a lot of Black Country metal industries is in relatively anonymous boxy buildings. The main line from Birmingham to Wolverhampton is squeezed in between the canal and the works. Despite their size, the blue buildings were doing their best to hide against the sky.
