Seen from the swing bridge on Tyneside Road. Roath Dock is linked to Queen Alexandra Dock and is still an active dock operated by Associated British Ports. Unfortunately the docks are a secure area and there are few good views to be had. The main entrance lock is well seen from the path to Cardiff Bay Barrage but was not active on this visit because the tide was out.
