The Jolly Gardeners on Lower Richmond Road is quite an imposing pub in its own right, but it is currently overshadowed by the industrial scale buildings of the Stag Brewery where Budweiser beer was made until recently. The brewery is now closed and awaiting redevelopment. Hopefully something more in keeping with The Jolly Gardeners will replace it.
