Carved stone post by the A388, in parish of LAWHITTON RURAL (NORTH CORNWALL District), Little Comfort, by the road. Lanson stone pillar, erected by the Launceston turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- LANSON 3 MILE CALL 7(½) MILE Carved benchmark and rivet on top. (To Launceston and Callington) Grade II listed.
