A view northwards along the A5127 Birmingham Road in Shenstone - southwards to Birmingham and northwards to Lichfield. A very cold, wet and windy day for my first visit since the late 1960s. The village has certainly grown in size since then but the old and new churches still occupy their exposed and windy position on the hilltop. A parade of shops including a Tesco Express has appeared since I was last here. Time photo taken 1.30 pm GMT (Greenwich Mean Time).
