This was a listed Elizabethan pub and restaurant which served a selection of real ales. The pub-explorer.com web site in 2008 mentioned musicians' jam sessions here on alternate Sundays with live music on Fridays and live music/cabaret on Saturdays indicating this may not be the place to moor if you fancy a quiet pint later. It closed for business c2016.
