The pub dates from 1908 (datestone on one of the gables) and was Grade II listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101217149-the-hare-and-hounds-public-house-moseley-and-kings-heath-ward#.XkgO0Gj7TIU & https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1217149 in 1995. The listing cites that it is "a well-detailed and substantially intact example of an early C20 urban public house with an elaborate, well preserved interior with contemporary furnishings, fixtures and decorative elements" which include Art-Nouveau tiling and an assortment of mahogany timber fittings and bar.
