This Grade 2 listed two-storey building dates from the early 19th century and is believed to be an extension of an earlier building which no longer exists. It was built from yellow brick and has a hipped slate roof. The house, converted to flats in 1971, is surrounded by a 20th century housing development in the former grounds of the hall. Believed to have been constructed for Alderman Davey, the house was used as judge's lodgings in the late 19th century, hence the name Judges Drive of the driveway leading to it from Unthank Road > https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6389121. The drive has however since been cut off, and Eaton Old Hall today can only be accessed from Hurd Road.
