Pevsner writes: "The grounds now overwhelmed with 41 one and two-storey houses (1976/7) by Edward Skipper & Associates." Edward Skipper, himself an important local architect, is a son of George Skipper by his 3rd wife Elizabeth Alice Charter, née Roberts.
