This former post box is situated on The Green WD3 6BH and has an inscription at the top https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6381968 refers. It has the Queen Victoria VR cipher and details of its collections as follows: Sarratt Vale Collections 1) 8.30am 2) 4.30pm Ex Sat A later collection at 8.00pm Mon to Fri and 5.15pm Sat is made from the box at Chorleywood P.O. Sundays Bank Holidays P.M. Good Friday 2.15 The present post box is located a short distance away outside Sarratt Post Office and Community Stores https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6382002 refers. It doesn't have the collections though on Sundays and Bank Holidays. Incidentally, Good Friday is now a Bank Holiday.
