This photo shows an inscription on the former post box on The Green WD3 6BH. It has the following wording: THIS VICTORIAN LETTER BOX WAS ORIGINALLY INSTALLED IN MOOR LANE SARRATT BOTTOM IN MARCH 1907 WHERE IT REMAINED IN CONTINUOUS USE UNTIL MAY 1982 Presented to Sarratt Parish Council by Head Postmaster Watford April 1983
