A footpath leaves Hawk Lane at this point, passing over a stile to the right of the gate on the left edge of the image. The footpath joins a network of village paths roughly following the stream uphill towards the church. The walk starts and ends near Chedworth Roman villa and takes in Chedworth Woods and Chedworth Airfield as well as passing through the village of Chedworth.
