The Kenilworth station on the Coventry-Milverton (north Leamington) line opened in 1844 and closed to passenger traffic in 1965. First proposed in 2008 the new station finally opened in 2018 after a long and dispiriting saga, recounted in the Wikipedia article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenilworth_railway_station Seen here Image, the building looks odd because it tries and fails to echo features of the late 19th-century station.
