At the junction of the private track with the Fossbridge to Yanworth road, stand Woodside Cottages. The track is a public footpath and part of both the Monarch's Way and the Macmillan Way long distance paths. The paths here swings right to cross the River Coln where the two paths diverge and take slightly different routes only to join up again near Hampnett. The walk starts and ends near Chedworth Roman villa and takes in Chedworth Woods and Chedworth Airfield as well as passing through the village of Chedworth.
