A view from the away supporters' area as Ipswich Town (blue) and Lincoln City (red) players followed the officials on to the pitch just before the start of a League 1 (third-division) match. Ipswich bundled in a close-range header from a free kick just before half time to settle an unenthralling encounter 1-0, in the process returning to the top of the table and exacting some measure of revenge for a 5-3 defeat at Lincoln earlier in the season. A goalless draw would have flattered two shot-shy sides on this occasion.
