This metalwork sculpture sits at the Glasgow Road roundabout between Morrisons supermarket and the Scottish Maritime Museum (The Denny Tank). The sculpture reflects the history of shipbuilding in the area. There seems to be some debate as to whether the figure is a welder or a burner (https://democratonline.net/2019/04/02/welder-or-burner/ Dumbarton Democrat).
