The SYHA Hostelling Scotland youth hostel, at 8 Queen's Road. The building is a granite villa, dating from 1895, now Category C listed. http://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/LB20735 A large tree in front. Probably a sweet chestnut (Castanea sativa), with a distinctive spiral of bark on the trunk.
