North side of the chancel. The Perpendicular window was originally where the organ is, being moved during the 1872 rebuilding. The other interesting feature is the presence of two doorways, one now blocked. It is known that there were buildings alongside the north wall of the chancel, in part providing a dwelling for the priest, but there was also a small chapel. This is indicated by the presence of a piscina on the outside of the wall, behind the panelling of the choir stalls, and it is thought that there may have been a cell of the friary at Shelford which was associated with the church.
