Morley is no longer a separate Borough, its functions having been taken over by Leeds City Council, but the Town Hall is still used as Council offices. Built in 1892-5, architect George Fox of Holtom & Fox of Dewsbury. Fox was late Mayor of Dewsbury and one of 13 local dignitaries later commemorated in stained glass inside the building. The Town Hall is now Grade I listed (entry 1135112) as "A fine town hall by a local architect incorporating several features from other earlier West Riding town halls".
