The memorial bears the names of 147 alumni of the college who died in the Great War. The memorial is located in the college chapel. The college is proud to have had three of their past pupils awarded the Victoria Cross. Namely Captain A.W.S. AGAR, Major W.H. HEWITT, both of whom survived to serve in the Second World War, and Captain G M Flowerdew of Billingford who died on 31st March 1918. Flowerdew Meadow in Scole is named in his honour. https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6319641 I would like to publicly thank the college for allowing me access during the school term.
