Carved stone post by the A388, in parish of CALLINGTON (CARADON District), by "Southview" at end of row of bungalows, garden wall built up to milestone. Damage to front edge, on North side of road. Erected by the Callington turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : TO / SALTA(SH) / PASSAG(E) / 9 / MILES : : TO / (C)ALLING / -TON / (TO)WN HALL / (H)ALF MILE : Carved benchmark on West face. Grade II listed.
