Flying his Mustang III out of RAF Bentwaters the cause of the crash at Lawshall in Suffolk, is unknown. There is also a memorial to him in Lawshall church. https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6366874 and beside the road where he crashed https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6366854 Son of Mr. and Mrs. J.
