The tram was built in 1998/99 by Ansaldo in Italy and is in the original predominantly red, blue & white livery with yellow doors. These trams had some reliability problems and have all been withdrawn and replaced by larger trams made by CAF. The tram is seen here passing the junction of Bilston Road and Jenner Street on its approach to The Royal tram stop.
