Originally located elsewhere in the city of Birmingham (Deritend) and moved here in pieces in 1911. Believed to be early 16th century in origin, it attracted a full-blown Grade I listing https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101075704-golden-lion-inn-memorial-moseley-and-kings-heath-ward#.Xg9a30f7RPY & https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1075704 in 1952, but appears to be very unloved and neglected at present, and has noticeably deteriorated in recent times.
