This rather magnificent building dates from 1899, when it was built to be the first municipal branch School of Art. It attracted a Grade II* listing https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101343102-school-of-art-sparkbrook-ward#.XgzOf0f7TIU & https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1343102 in 1982, and now appears to be in use as dance studios and performance areas.
