Steep rocky path

This short public footpath links Beckfield Road and Manor Drive in Cottingley. The path is steep, rocky and unlit. Given that this is a shortcut for residents of the Cottingley housing estate to reach the main road, it's surprising that it hasn't been tamed by converting it into regular steps with lighting.
