Open from dawn to dusk on Christmas Day and already attracting early morning customers just after sunrise. The current building dates from 2002 and replaced on older kiosk located where the seating area is now. The owners originally wanted to extend that but were unable due to strict planning laws on the Hove side of the boundary, however, when the authorities merged in the 1990s they were able to shift the plans to the Brighton side where no preservation order existed.
