In common with several other fine houses on the south side of Sir Harry's Road, no 8 was built in the mid 19th century, and attracted a Grade II listing https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101343165-8-sir-harrys-road-b15-edgbaston-ward#.XfZUj-j7Tcs & https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1343165 in 1982.
