The entrance to the King George V Playing Fields in Amos Lane. Once home to a paddling pool and tennis courts it is now given over to football pitches and provides a site for travelling fairs. It adjoins Wednesfield Park. King George's Fields were set up as a memorial to the late king and usually have plaques either side of the entrance gates. Image Image
