This building was built right after the castle was partially demolished in 1649, and this was built using the stones from the demolition. This building gained its well-known timbers in 1900, and this is one of the most well-known hotels in the town. This was taken from the lane that leads up to the castle. Also, the original name of this hotel used to be the Green Dragon.
