Stubble field on north side of Banesley Lane

Banesley Lane is a minor road in Gateshead on the outskirts of the main built up area of the town; the conurbation can be seen across the shallow valley of the River Team beyond the field. In the valley bottom are the industrial units of the Team Valley Trading Estate which is stated by 'Invest Gateshead' to have been "Established in 1937 as the UK's first industrial estate".
