Former Seven Stars Public House

The Seven Stars pub in Swan lane was bombed by the IRA in October 1974, 35 minutes after the Horse and Groom pub not far away in North St had been bombed with the deaths of five young people. there were no deaths at the Seven Stars as the pub had been cleared. Two shops now occupy the ground floor of the building.
