The building was a worsted mill, known originally as Stone Hall Shed, or locally as Whiteley's Mill (the owners being Thomas Whiteley & Co.). It is currently known as Stone Hall Mills, home of PD Pattern Books Ltd, who make samples of carpet and vinyl flooring. See Image for the other end.
