Situated in Albion Hill DN9 1HD, this statue shows John Wesley holding a bible in his left hand. The plaque on the plinth has the following wording: JOHN WESLEY 1703- 1791 THIS STATUE WAS ERECTED IN THE YEAR 2003 TO HONOUR JOHN WESLEY'S TERCENTENARY "Epworth: which I still love beyond most places in the world" "I look upon all the world as my parish"
