This area houses shops, a post office, community centre and a health centre. There are also an adjoining public house, school and supermarket, not to mention a local nature reserve including a pond with Greater Crested Newts. The public house is in Lyppard Grange and is one of the surviving older buildings in the midst of extensive modern housing estates.
