Its external appearance dates this place probably to the 19th century, but it's entirely likely to be older than that, and consequently picked up a Grade II listing https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101343047-the-white-swan-public-house-edgbaston-ward#.XdWHvleeRPY & https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1343047 in 1982. The windows and roofline have had a fresh coat of paint since it was last photographed for this site in 2006 Image
