Thought to once have been one of a pair forming a grand entrance to the adjacent house which was St Chad's Hospital, and built around 1800, this rather fine building was Grade II listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101211705-215-hagley-road-b16-edgbaston-ward#.XdT0e1f7RPY & https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1211705 in 1982. It now appears to be in use as offices.
