For a short time (1796-98) a holiday home to Lord Byron as a boy. The second daughter of the then owner (Mary Robertson) is buried in old Glen Tanar kirkyard. She features in his poem 'When I Roved a Young Highlander'. See http://www.readbookonline.net/readOnLine/3451/
