At Clements Gate. Clements Gate > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5599230 is a new housing development by David Wilson Homes, described as an exclusive range of three, four and five-bedroom homes with unique architectural details and distinctive exteriors. The road is named after Warrant Officer Herbert William Revel-Burroughs DCM, who served in the Royal Artillery, 215 Battalion, 70 Light AA Regiment. He died on 20 January 1943, aged 36, as a result of a training accident when an officer dropped a gand grenade, with fatal results and is commemorated on the Poringland war memorial.
