There's not much remaining of Lindores Abbey, which was of the Tironensian order, one which I'm unfamiliar with other than having visited Kelso Abbey, which was this abbey's mother church. It would appear that this could be the original home of Scotch whisky as there are written records [and the remains of an old still] that date back to the medieval period, so this site deserves some reverence.
