The memorial which is believed to have been attached to this building was sent for repair and maintenance a number of years ago and has not yet been reinstated. The inscription was: "The names of the development and of the surrounding streets commemorate the gallantry of members of the Royal Norfolk Regiment Who were awarded the Victoria Cross George GRISTOCK, John Neil RANDLE, Sidney BATES, George Arthur KNOWLAND, David Audjo JAMIESON. BRITANNIA COURT."
