This is at the junction of two canals, the Trent and Mersey and the Staffordshire and Worcestershire (behind the camera). Stoke-on-Trent is to the left. Burton-on-Trent, Shardlow and the River Trent are to the right. The railway bridge crosses Mill Lane.
