The 6-bayed building in the centre of the picture, with the heavy overhang to the roof is an 18th/19th century refacing in brick of a much earlier (16th or 17th century) timber-framed house - there are substantial parts remaining in the interior, including a late 17th century staircase and extensive wood panelling. The shop fronts are much later. The whole was Grade II listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101254659-8-milk-street-shrewsbury#.Xb_haOj7RPY & https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1254659 in 1953.
