Curlers Rest

There used to be a large pond nearby, when this area of Glasgow was still countryside. The pond was used by Partick Curling Club in the mid-19th century. This public house on Byres Road, dates from the 18th century and was previously known as The Curlers, but is now Curlers Rest.
