Street off Leith Walk. On the right is Pilrig Church, built 1861-3 replacing an earlier building of 1843, housing only the second church in the Free Church of Scotland. The present building was designed by Peddie and Kinnear architects and is designated Category A - see http://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/LB27649. The buildings on the left date from 1810 and are also designated Category A - see http://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/LB29493.
