The altar painting is by Jeffrey Camp in 1955 and depicts a blond-haired Christ in Glory, with Norwich scenes below. Jeffery Camp (1923-2020) was born in Oulton Broad (in Suffolk) and taught at the Norwich School of Art in the 1950s. During this period he had won a competition run by the Eastern Daily Press to paint the reredos depicted here. The artist later made his name in London and in 1961 was elected a member of The London Group.
